It was this awareness that led Gavin to leave his CFO role and embark on a journey to better understand what drives business results at "ground level"...a place were few Finance professionals ever dare to go.

Becoming certified as a Business Coach, Gavin began working directly with business owners to resolve the obstacles that prevented them from achieving their desired success. Whether it was through devising a strategic plan, providing leadership coaching, or instituting a system of performance measurement, Gavin developed a deeper understanding of how all areas of a business must work cooperatively to achieve every dollar of revenue earned. Yet, acquiring this understanding was still achieved from the outside looking in. To truly gain the sought after level of "enlightenment" that Gavin desired, it was time for full immersion.
It was then that Gavin co-founded a successful SaaS company focusing on providing managers with the human skills needed to be viewed as trusted and respected leaders while equipping employees to neutralize workplace conflict. As VP of Finance & Operations for this technology startup, along with overseeing marketing, brand development, customer relations, vendor relations, and occasionally working with clients as needed, Gavin finally understood what few senior Finance Managers seemed to realize...
